H&R Block Extension Form

While the regular filing deadline of April 18th is the date that any tax payments are due, if you live abroad you have until June 15th to request an extension of time to file until October 16th, 2017.  We are happy to file this extension on your behalf.  To do so, we will need to obtain the information on the following page.

Please note that any unpaid tax amounts after June 15th will begin to accrue interest and 'failure to pay' penalties. Therefore, you may consider making an estimated payment with your extension if you expect to owe.
If you have any questions, you can email expattax@hrblock.com or call (816) 504-1665

Payments can be made either by electronic payment (from a U.S. bank account) with your extension, or you may pay online at this IRS website.
